Lots of my scrappy friends from all over the world have been exchanging postcards. It is wonderful to see all the places my friends live or have travelled to. I couldn't find any good postcards locally, so I decided I would make a batch of friendship cards to send.
I wanted to use some of my new Stampin' UP! supplies, and I was in love with this Mosaic Madness set (stamp set, punch and embossing folder). I chose 3 different color schemes, a basic card template, then set to work assembly line style. I used pre-made card blanks & envelopes. I cut my background pieces just smaller and ran them through my Cuttlebug with the embossing folder. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut flags for me to stamp my greeting on. I got all my stamping done, then punched all my Mosaic designs, and put them all together. I also did a little stamping on the envelope.
A couple of the girls were going through a tough time, so I used a Thinking of You seniment for their cards, and it was almost another's birthday, so theirs became a birthday card. I wrote a personal note inside each one, and got them mailed out the next day! :)
Thanks for stopping by today! :)
