December Daily and right now

It's Right Now Wednesday, and I am ....

*listening - to a washing machine
*eating - need to eat some dinner

*drinking - water
*wearing - PJs
*weather - cold, but no snow like yesterday
*wanting - for my Hubs to be healed and healthy again
*needing - to relax for the evening
*thinking - about how bad I feel for the dogs being shuffled around so much lately
*enjoying - that I have a lot of support during this ordeal, so thankful

Yesterday was not a good day for The Hubs.  After feeling great and being up and around on Monday, he was in agonizing pain yesterday.  The nurses at his doctor's office thought he'd just overdone it.  I was very scared he may have torn something inside.  Overnight, he got much worse, until he couldn't move at all.  When he finally rolled to his side, I noticed a spot on his sheet and the soaked bandage I'd just changed about 4 hours before.  It was ER time.  We called for an ambulance since we thought they'd be able to move him better.  Two firetrucks and six firemen in our house later, we decided we would take him ourselves, and they helped us get him into his dad's truck.  His surgeon was at the hospital and came by, and immediately said it was infection.  We waited all day, but he finally had a clean-out surgery this evening, and he'll stay in the hospital for another 3-5 days.  He was much more alert and less foggy than last surgery.  I teased him that he just wanted to get out of Valentine's Day, LOL. :)

So ... here is my post for today, a little behind schedule ... :)

More December Daily pages ... like I mentioned before, my pages through the book definitely do not match, and I feel like it's OK.  These pages are bright and Doodlebug, the ones below are from Echo Park's Holly Jolly 6x6 pad.

Thanks for stopping by! :)

  1. Oh no! Your poor hubby! Thankfully you are taking good care of him and were able to get him the help he needed! Tell him to take it easy, geez! :0)

Beautiful pages! Love the giant snowflake and the action shots of your fur-babies! I think I may have said this before but I am digging the non-traditional Christmas colors you are using throughout and yet you can totally tell it's a album about Christmas!
