First off, my Right Now Wednesday ....
*listening - to Magdalena by A Perfect Circle on my iPod
*eating - nothing yet
*drinking - water
*wearing - gray slacks, white top and gray cardigan
*weather - not quite as cold today, but tomorrow will be 20 degrees colder! Yikes!
*wanting - to be listened to and understood
*needing - a day by myself to finish everything I need to do
*thinking - how disappointed I am in people, and how often I keep returning for more
*enjoying - that it's almost the weekend, SO ready for some down time
Here are a few more December Daily pages ... On Friday, December 30th, we'd both had a really hard, long week, so we decided a huge platter of shrimp nachos (sounds gross, but it's delish!) and a funny movie sounded like what we needed. The next day we got the lights done on the house. I've been using my Cameo like crazy on my album this year. Both journal areas and the date numbers were die cut. I even designed the light bulb block! :)
After relaxing all day on Sunday, we decided to go out and eat. I used the die cut I made while working on my Las Vegas album with the silverware, and just changed the shape to a square. For my date, I used an artisan shape punch, and the numbers were die cut with my Cuttlebug and Typewriter Alpha dies. I also learned something very cool. My father-in-law brought my nephew over to get some mistletoe out of our elm tree. I had no clue that's what the green clumps were, LOL! :) Another Cameo die cut, a stamp and some twine completed that page.
Gracie modeled her new pink sweater by the Christmas tree, and I made a new wreath for the door of our office! :) Tons more die cuts and bright, fun Doodlebug paper!
Sorry for this blurry picture, I didn't realize it was so out of focus until after I loaded it. You can still see the die cut shape I designed though ... ;)
Thanks for stopping by, see you all tomorrow! :)
your dd looks awesome!! i am a bit behind in mine but hopefully with my break coming i will be able to catch up!

ReplyDeleteCute pages, love the bright colors on the last one:)
ReplyDeletePractically every week I'm surprised to read that you're wearing grey, white and/or black in some combination! Your scrapbooking is SO colorful, so I'm surprised your wardrobe isn't as colorful! These pages look great!
